Paleo Hot Chocolate

Dairy-free and sweetened without processed sugar! Add some extra ingredients to boost your beverage.

Ingredients:

10oz hot water

1tbsp cacao powder

1 scoop powdered stevia or monkfruit (You can also use honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar to keep it paleo-friendly, but I like stevia or monkfruit so that you don’t spike your blood sugar).

1 pinch mineral sea salt (I like Redmond’s Real Salt)

2-4tbsp full-fat coconut milk (I like Aroy-D)

Optional Add-Ins:

1 scoop collagen

1 pinch turmeric + black pepper OR dropperful of turmeric tincture

Method:

1) Boil water in an electric kettle or on the stovetop.

2) Whisk in cacoa powder, sweetener, and salt until the powder is dissolved. If you’re going to add collagen, add it here.

3) Stir in some coconut milk until you reach your desired creaminess.
